Life is full of changes and transitions. Some are expected and welcomed, marriage, graduation, a birth, or a better job. Some may create distress and challenge our ability to adjust to new and sometimes overwhelming circumstances: divorce/separation, retirement, empty nesting, a health crisis, or just a persistent feeling of dissatisfaction with life. Therapy can be helpful in assessing where you are in your life or where you may have ended because of seen or unforeseen circumstances. The goal is the ability to navigate changes and not feel daunted, overwhelmed, or fearful of them. Life transitions can be powerful catalysts for growth and resilience.
